HDPE Electrofusion Fittings

Kangyu HDPE electrofusion pipe fittings are specially developed for municipal water supply and drainage, gas transmission, sewage pipe networks, and trenchless projects. They are suitable for all HDPE solid-wall pipes and can meet the harsh working conditions of medium and high-pressure fluid transportation. It is made of new high-density polyethylene raw materials and is injection molded in one piece. It has outstanding weather resistance, aging resistance, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and geological settlement resistance. The pipe network system has a stable service life of up to 50 years, and the long-term underground service performance is reliable.

The product has excellent temperature and weather resistance. It has a balanced rigidity and toughness under high and low temperature environments. It is not prone to cracking and deformation due to repeated changes in temperature differences. It can resist soil chemical media erosion and groundwater corrosion. Using professional electrofusion welding technology, it is fused with HDPE pipes as a whole. The welding interface has high fusion and strong tensile strength, completely eliminating the risk of interface leakage and detachment. The inner wall of the pipe fittings is smooth and smooth, with low water transportation resistance, no scale accumulation, and no growth of attachments, which reduces the energy consumption of medium transportation and greatly reduces the later inspection and maintenance costs of the pipe network.   • Excellent temperature and weather resistance, long-term stable operation all day long

    Injection molded using new raw materials of high-density polyethylene, it can provide long-term stable service in the range of -40°C to 60°C, and can withstand medium temperatures of 70°C in the short term. It is suitable for municipal water supply, rain and sewage drainage, underground gas, chemical fluid transportation and other scenarios; it complies with GB/T 13663.2, ISO 4427, and ASTM D3350 standards.

  • Outstanding creep resistance, no deformation under pressure for a long time

    The pipe fittings have excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking and creep resistance. They are not easy to deform and relax under long-term buried pressure and soil stress. They have strong structural stability under long-term pressure operation and ensure that the pipe network will not deform in continuous service for decades; it complies with EN 12257 and ISO 9080 standards.

  • High toughness, impact resistance, no brittleness at low temperature, resistance to settlement

    The product has a high balance between rigidity and toughness, excellent tensile resistance, rolling resistance, and external impact resistance.     Adopting a special electrofusion welding process, it is melted and integrated with HDPE pipes at the molecular level. The welding strength is higher than that of the pipe body.     The thermal expansion coefficient is highly consistent with that of HDPE pipes. Thermal expansion and contraction are synchronized during direct burial, non-excavation, and pipe gallery laying, which greatly reduces stress and pull damage within the pipe network and improves the overall safety factor of long-distance buried pipe networks; it complies with GB 50236 and ISO 10460 standards.

    The inner wall of the pipe is smooth and flat, with minimal friction resistance. It is not easy to accumulate sediment, debris and scale, which reduces the power loss of the water pump, improves the water supply, drainage and gas transportation flux, and lowers energy consumption in long-term use; it complies with ISO 10838 and AWWA C906 standards.

    Produced from new pure HDPE granule raw materials, no recycled materials are added, no heavy metals and harmful substances are precipitated, and the hygienic indicators meet the standards. It can be safely used in municipal tap water and residential drinking water delivery pipe networks; it complies with GB 4806.7 and NSF/ANSI 61 standards.
