HDPE Ultra-Large Diameter Seawater Desalination Pipe

HDPE ultra-large diameter seawater desalination pipe adopts PE100 grade special raw materials, specially designed for seawater intake, desalination water transportation, and concentrated salt water discharge. It is resistant to chloride ion corrosion, seawater erosion, scaling, and rust, and operates stably and reliably for a long time.

The pipe has large diameter, high ring stiffness, smooth inner wall, small water flow resistance, and high water transfer efficiency, which can meet the needs of large flow and long-distance seawater desalination projects. It has strong resistance to settlement, impact resistance, and weather resistance, and is suitable for the complex marine environment.

Adopting hot melt docking connection, it has high interface strength, tight seal, no leakage, light weight, convenient construction and long service life. It is widely used in large seawater desalination plants, coastal water supply, cross-sea water transmission, industrial cooling and other systems.

  • Resistant to strong seawater corrosion and chloride ion erosion

    Special seawater-grade HDPE raw material, resistant to corrosion by high salt, chloride ions, marine microorganisms, and inhibiting the adhesion of marine organisms;

  • Excellent resistance to salt stress cracking, stable for long-term immersion

    Environmental stress cracking resistance ESCR ≥ 10000h, long-term immersion in seawater will not cause brittleness or aging;

  • Super large diameter specifications, suitable for large flow transportation

    Can produce DN630-DN2000 ultra-large diameter pipes with large water flow and small head loss, suitable for water intake, concentrated brine discharge, and desalinated water transportation;

  • High toughness and impact resistance, adaptable to coastal geological subsidence

    Elongation at break ≥800%, ring stiffness SN4–SN16 optional, flexible and resistant to foundation settlement, wave erosion, and geological displacement;

    Comply with EN 1046, GB/T 19472

  • The inner wall is smooth and has low friction, saving energy and reducing consumption during transportation.

    The inner wall roughness is ≤0.007mm, the water flow resistance is small, and the transportation energy consumption is 20%–30% lower than that of steel pipes;

  • Hot melt integrated connection to prevent seawater leakage

    Hot melt docking/electrofusion connection, the interface strength is higher than the pipe body, resistant to negative pressure and seawater leakage;

  • Used in a wide temperature range, able to withstand extreme temperature differences along the coast

    The long-term use temperature is ‑40℃~60℃, adapting to the temperature difference between day and night along the coast and freezing and thawing environment in winter;
